Admission Procedure:

  • At Sapphire, we offer a rich inclusive environment and welcome students from all backgrounds regardless of their religion, caste, gender, and creed. We have an admission policy that does not discriminate against any child or family.
  • Admission forms to be filled in and submitted to the school office before the end of the enrollment period. We will not be able to entertain incomplete or illegible enrollment forms without photographs.
  • Dates for tests/interviews/interactions for all grades will be given at the time of enrollment.
  • Mere issue of form or enrollment does not imply admission which is subject to admission test/interviews/interaction and also to the availability of seats.
  • A photocopy of the birth certificate issued by the municipal corporation or concerned civic authority must accompany the admission form for classes.
  • EYPL (Pre Nursery), EYPL I(Nursery), EYPL II (Lower KG), EYPL III (Upper KG): A copy of the report/progress card of the last examination passed must be attached to the admission form for classes I and above.
  • Parents must take note that submission of the complete application form does not ensure admission to our school.
  • In order to get selected, the eligible applicants have to fulfill the entrance requirements and complete the required documentation.
  • The qualified academic teaching staff will be reviewing the foundational, preparatory, middle, and secondary school documents of the applicants. If they meet the eligibility criteria, the applicants will have to go through a competency test which is designed to assess their skills on various levels.
  • There will be a competency test from class II onwards. Only those who are shortlisted shall be called for an interaction.
  • Once the steps of the interview/interaction/assessmentt are completed, the school will get in touch with the parents if their ward meets the criteria.

Supporting Documents:

  • Duly completed admission form
  • Photocopy of birth certificate
  • 2 passport-size photographs of parents
  • 5 passport-size photographs of the child
  • Photocopy of vaccination card (EYPL to II)
  • Address proof of the current address
  • Original TC/ School Leaving Certificate
  • Report card/Progress Card/Mark Sheet for the last three consecutive years
  • Photocopy of the Aadhaar Card of the parents & their child
  • The admission can be confirmed only after the submission of all the documents and the fee payment.

Admission Formalities:

  • Selected candidates must pay the fees within the mentioned due date, otherwise, enrollment will automatically stand cancelled.
  • Parents are requested to carefully fill and submit the admission form and transportation/daycare/meal form at the time of payment of fees.
  • These forms are enclosed in this booklet.
  • The date of birth of the learner is required to be supported by the Birth Certificate issued by the municipal corporation/Local bodies as applicable. An affidavit or any other evidence is not acceptable in support of a Birth Certificate. It is to be attached with the admission form for classes EYPL (Pre-Nursery), EYPL-I (Nursery), EYPL-II (Lower KG), EYPL-III (Upper KG). For Classes I and above, the Transfer Certificate of a recognized affiliated school is to be submitted in original.
  • The learners will be granted the admissions confirmation letter only after all forms are duly filled and the admission formalities are completed.
  • Learners are to report on the date specified in the joining instructions in complete school uniform along with books & stationery as prescribed by the school.

Competency Level Test:

  • To understand the proficiency of the students in learning, our team conducts competency tests for the applicants.
  • These tests are designed on various levels to assess their basic skills, knowledge and understanding of various subjects. It is a sincere endeavor to form a deep understanding of the diverse needs and learning behavior of prospective learners.
  • Foundational years: The competency tests will involve a stay-and-play session where the child’s readiness for school will be assessed thoroughly.
  • Classes I & II: This will assess the knowledge of the learners your students related to phonics,
  • letters, numbers, and shapes along with their basic literacy skills.
  • Classes III to VIII: Cognitive Ability Test (CAT) and written English
  • Classes IX to XII: Cognitive Ability Test (CAT) based on the choice of subjects.

Note: All Fees charged (except the security deposit) are non-refundable.
