Visual and Performing Arts at SIS include art forms, dance forms, instrumental and vocal music, theatre, cuisine, photography, multimedia, robotics, and innovative labs that require learners to know how to use specific materials such as tools and mediums of expression and how to apply artistic concepts while creating artwork specific to the art form.

Arts integration is a cross-curricular pedagogical approach that utilizes various aspects and forms of arts and culture as the basis for learning concepts across subjects. As a part of the thrust on experiential learning, arts-integrated education is embedded in classroom transactions not only for creating joyful classrooms but also for imbibing the Indian ethos through the integration of Indian arts and culture in the teaching and learning process at every level.


Theatre

SIS offers Theater to grades I-X.

Theatre teaches essential soft skills that foster empathy and effective interactions with others, aiding in human development regardless of the career path one chooses to pursue. Theater is the most comprehensive art form, enveloping all other forms of art, including music, dance, fine art, film, and visual art.
Theatre in Education is a concept that provides opportunities for learners to learn difficult and abstract concepts through fun.
