Makers week is being observed in middle and senior school to instill the concept of Design Thinking in students.

Design thinking is a human -centered approach to innovation that draws from the designer’s toolkit to integrate the needs of people, the possibilities of technology and the requirement for business success.

At Sapphire International School, it began with the making of some creative projects by the collaborative efforts of the students. They participated enthusiastically and showcased their thought process, creativity and imagination through their projects. They were also challenged to complete their projects in limited time period with the available set of resources. The fantastic efforts of our young designers was much appreciated by the judging team members. The selected students will now dwell in to the elaborate steps of design thinking to find the best suited solution of the problem given to them. The Makers week will end with the presentation of the student’s work done in groups. This will surely give wings to their creativity and confidence to rise higher and higher.
